The Dover Crimson Tornadoes lost against the Indian Creek Redskins back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Dover fell 34-24 to Indian Creek. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dover has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indian Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than McKenna Scott, who scored 13 points along with three steals. The game was Scott's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kylie Anderson, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Dover's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Indian Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Dover will head out on the road to face off against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Washington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Indian Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Harrison Central at 7:30 p.m. Harrison Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 680th, while Indian Creek is ranked 138th).
