The Highland Rams can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Skyline 68-45. The score was close at the half, but Highland pulled away in the second half with 39 points.
Highland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Drisdom out in front who scored 16 points along with six assists and three steals. Drisdom continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sefa Brown, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Skyline's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kai Sorenson, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Karson Kaufusi, who scored 14 points.
Highland pushed their record up to 12-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Skyline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, Highland and Skyline will both be playing West the next time they take the court. Skyline will host West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Highland will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
