Broderick Vehrs Goes Supernova in Basha Victory
Starting off the list is Basha's Broderick Vehrs, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vehrs threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Basha pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Vehrs and Basha will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Gio Richardson Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Basha got the W thanks in part to Gio Richardson playing the best football he has all season. Richardson picked up 183 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 89 yards.
Hamilton had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Richardson it was a similar story. When Richardson last faced the Huskies back in October of 2023, he picked up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Casteel Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Paul Palmer
Paul Palmer's big game helped extend Casteel's winning streak to three on Friday. Palmer did his part (and then some), throwing for 211 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 31 yards for the 'W'.
Palmer is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Chandler on Friday. Palmer rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 199 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Wolves duked it out back in September of 2023.

Lucero Jr. Came Up Big in Hamilton's 35-20 Defeat
Rich Lucero Jr. put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 143 yards and a touchdown.
With the defeat, Hamilton broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1. Lucero Jr. and Hamilton will look to defend their home field on Friday against Perry at 7:00 p.m.

Porter Delnoce Makes It Two for Casteel
Another Casteel player making an appearance on this list is Porter Delnoce. He made 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Perry, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Delnoce. Delnoce picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss) the last time he and the Pumas duked it out back in October of 2023.
