Despite the loss, Fayetteville saw an underclassman step up: Cameron Hammonds rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns. Hammonds is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Comer's win was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.56 points. As for Fayetteville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
