On Friday, The Minico Spartans faced the Twin Falls Bruins in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Minico was beaten by Twin Falls 49-15. Minico's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Twin Falls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amos Kun, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Solosabal, who rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns.
Minico's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Twin Falls, their victory was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-1.
