The Greendale Panthers pushed their score all the way to 81 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Milwaukee Lutheran 86-81. Greendale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Isaiah Allen was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with five steals for Milwaukee Lutheran. Allen is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Markell Causey, who scored 13 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Greendale now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Greendale will head out on the road to take on New Berlin Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oak Creek at 7:00 p.m. Oak Creek is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
