The Shiloh Generals have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell to Chapel Hill 56-52. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Shiloh has scored all season.
Several Generals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jullien Cole, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds. The match was Cole's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tylis Jordan, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Shiloh's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Chapel Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shiloh and Habersham Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Chapel Hill is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. One thing working in Jackson's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
