After losing to Naperville North the last time they met, Naperville Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Redhawks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Huskies 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redhawks.

Naperville Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Naperville Central's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Naperville North, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.

Coming up, Naperville Central will take on DeKalb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Redhawks are facing the Barbs at the right time seeing as the Barbs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Naperville North, they will square off against Metea Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
