The Lancaster Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Corsicana Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Lancaster suffered a tough 7-1 defeat at the hands of Forney. Lancaster was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.
Corsicana can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Crandall as Corsicana made off with a 6-1 win. The win was just what Corsicana needed coming off of a 3-0 defeat in their prior match.
Their offense was hitting Crandall from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.
Lancaster has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15-1 record this season. As for Corsicana, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1.
Lancaster suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Corsicana when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can Lancaster avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
