Adding to the longest winning streak in AAAA Region II this week, Spartanburg beat Greenwood 37-20,. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Byrnes took down Clinton 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Shuler Bentley threw for 261 yards and 4 touchdowns during the win.
The Rebels' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Isaiah Hill chipped in 99 yards. Tavin Richardson helped Byrnes' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 58 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Boiling Springs and Byrnes. The Bulldogs enters the game ranked 12th in the state, while the Rebels ranks second.
Wade Hampton made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,443 from 6,021. The improvement was the result of 41-35 victory over Woodmont last week.
