Central was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They took  a  41-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blacksher Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  64-34  last Friday.
 Blacksher's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kayleigh Patrick, who  posted 12  points in addition to seven  boards and six  steals. Those six  steals gave  Patrick a new career-high.  Dani Chunn was another key player,  putting up seven points and six  rebounds.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Blacksher, their win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-12.
 Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  44-21  loss against Booker T. Washington Magnet on the 29th. Blacksher has also  already played their next game,  a  56-16  victory against Excel on the 30th.
