Even though Wayne scored an imposing 60 points last Friday, Wahoo still came out on top. Wahoo strolled past Wayne with points to spare, taking the game 75-60. Given Wahoo's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Wayne is ranked 88th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Wahoo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Marcus Glock out in front who shot 4-for-8 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Glock has scored at least 25% of Wahoo's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Simons, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Ashland-Greenwood put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 65-30 victory over Milford at home. Fans of Ashland-Greenwood have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.

Wahoo pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.2 points. As for Ashland-Greenwood, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
Everything went Wahoo's way against Ashland-Greenwood in their previous matchup back in February as Wahoo made off with a 54-32 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wahoo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
