Meanwhile, Rosemead pushed their score all the way to 62 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mountain View.
Despite the defeat, Rosemead saw an underclassman step up: Rhys Anderson scored 26 points. That was a full 41.9% of Rosemead's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Nguyen, who scored 14 points.
Marshall bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Rosemead, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
