Baseball Recap: Compass Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Compass Academy entered their tilt with Coahoma on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bulldogs 12-2. The result was nothing new for Compass Academy, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

JACKSON CLARK made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in February. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other pitching news, CANYON BOWNDS looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Back at the plate, KAISON BIVINS was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of KASON TRAVIS, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.

Compass Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.

Compass Academy's record is now 9-2. As for Coahoma, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
