The Faith Baptist School Falcons put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 32-18 win over Bayview Christian. That's another feather in the cap for Faith Baptist School, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Faith Baptist School to victory were Kiersten Yates HS and Nevina Jenkins HS. Yates HS scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Jenkins HS scored five points along with seven steals. Jenkins HS is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Faith Baptist School's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Bayview Christian, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Baptist School will take on Calvary Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Calvary Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Saturday. As for Bayview Christian, they will play host again and welcome Seaside Christian Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
