The Lake Worth Trojans suffered their biggest defeat since December 6, 2023 on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 39-16 walloping at the hands of Forest Hill. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lake Worth in their matchups with Forest Hill: they've now lost eight in a row.
Several Trojans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christina Bell, who scored seven points along with four steals. Bell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Alexandra Reiman was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six steals.
Lake Worth's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Forest Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Lake Worth won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Leonard at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Leonard is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Forest Hill, Forest Hill and Royal Palm Beach will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Royal Palm Beach will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 476th, while Forest Hill is ranked 235th).
