The Brownell Talbot Raiders can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They took down Cedar Bluffs 45-27. The win was just what Brownell Talbot needed coming off of a 48-17 defeat in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brownell Talbot to victory, but perhaps none more so than Simon Lim, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Lim has scored at least 25% of Brownell Talbot's points. Another player making a difference was John Schinzel, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Brownell Talbot's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for Cedar Bluffs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Brownell Talbot will be playing in front of their home fans against College View Academy on Tuesday. As for Cedar Bluffs, they will head out on the road to face off against Elba at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
