Vyanna Ta Drops League-Best Effort on Saturday
Starting off the list is Mira Mesa's Vyanna Ta, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Saturday Ta rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 135 yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards she has had since back in September. She was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Kennedy McCabe stepped things up a notch to give Scripps Ranch the 'W'. McCabe was unstoppable, throwing for 112 yards and four touchdowns.
Scripps Ranch now has a winning record of 12-11. McCabe and Scripps Ranch will take on Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Lily Chu Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Wednesday, Scripps Ranch got the W thanks in part to Lily Chu playing the best football she has all season. Chu rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Chu has averaged 18 receiving yards per game.
