The Springfield Cougars will be playing at home against the Lower Merion Aces at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Wednesday,  everything went Springfield's way against Ridley as Springfield made off with  a  9-3 victory.
  Jake Adams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching seven innings while giving up  three earned runs off   six  hits. Adams was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Michael Turner was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Vinny Valerio, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile,  after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Lower Merion brought some dynamite into their most recent  matchup. They came out on top against Radnor by a score of  10-5  on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Lower Merion's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Springfield has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record  this season. As for Lower Merion, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
 Springfield was able to grind out a solid  victory over Lower Merion in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023, winning  4-1. Will Springfield repeat their success,  or does  Lower Merion have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
