On Friday, Holdenville took their game with ease, bagging a 58-19 victory over Comanche. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wolverines' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Indians are ranked 203rd).

Meanwhile, Kellyville hadn't done well against Meeker recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Ponies breezed past the Bulldogs to the tune of 56-18. The win was familiar territory for the Ponies, who have now won three matchups in a row.
Holdenville better keep an eye on JEREMY ANDERSON. He was instrumental in Kellyville's win, rushing for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. KYLE HILLSBERRY did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 135 receiving yards.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Kellyville proved: they limited Meeker to a paltry 2.7 yards per carry. The Ponies didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.5.
Kellyville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as CRUZ PITTSER, JACE HAWKINS-CUSICK, and HILLSBERRY picked up one apiece.
Holdenville's record is now 9-1. As for Kellyville, their record now sits at 7-3.
Holdenville suffered a grim 48-28 defeat to Kellyville in their previous matchup back in October of 2018. Will the Wolverines have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more football content.
