After losing to the Wyoming Cowboys the last time they met, the St. Xavier Bombers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. St. Xavier walked away with a 50-37 victory over the Cowboys on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Xavier.
St. Xavier can attribute much of their success to Dominic Sidoti, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Reilly, who scored 13 points along with two blocks.
St. Xavier pushed their record up to 14-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wyoming, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Xavier will challenge the Fighting Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wyoming's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
