Baseball Recap: Bel Air Comes Up Short

Bel Air's tournament run continued when they took on Desert View on Saturday. The Bel Air Highlanders fell just short of the Desert View Jaguars by a score of 11-10. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan Rodriguez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (four). Julian Ponce was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Bel Air's record is now 6-3-1. As for Desert View, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Bel Air will head out on the road to challenge Burges at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
