Eureka is on a eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while the Leopards are on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Eureka Vandals will take on the Wells Leopards at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Eureka is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Leopards in Nevada (the Vandals are ranked 29th, while the Leopards are ranked 90th).
In what's become a running theme this season, Eureka gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They breezed by Jackpot on the road to the tune of 58-24.
Meanwhile, Wells came up short against the Knights on Tuesday and fell 60-52. Wells has not had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Eureka's win bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Wells, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Everything came up roses for Eureka against the Leopards in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 70-11 win. Does Eureka have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Leopards turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
