Westminster Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lanier Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Lanier Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ellie Roberts led the charge by scoring 12 points along with six rebounds. Adelyn Gough was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Westminster Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lanier Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westminster Christian Academy will take on Bethlehem Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lanier Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Peachtree Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Peachtree Academy and Lanier Christian Academy are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
