The Sarasota Military Academy Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Sarasota Military Academy turned things around against The Classical Academy of Sarasota on Tuesday. They blew past the Patriots 12-1.
Boston Villidoniga was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Sarasota Military Academy let Keller Button and Keyler Delrio run wild. Button scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4, while Delrio went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Button has become a key player for Sarasota Military Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Leon, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Sarasota Military Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Foundation Christian Academy made easy work of Gibbs two weeks ago and carried off a 19-1 victory. Considering the Panthers have won five contests by more than ten runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Caleb Hom made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Foundation Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Henry Salter, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, Salter posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Rolland Williams was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.
Foundation Christian Academy's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1. As for Sarasota Military Academy, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-9.
