Midway extended their winning streak to eight on Tuesday, bumping them up to 13-4. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 46-27 victory over the Woodson Cowboys. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cowboys, too.

As for Woodson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Woodson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Julianna Miller, who posted six points and four steals, and Braylee Clark, who earned six points in addition to nine rebounds and three blocks. Clark has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played.

Coming up, Midway will be home for the holidays to greet Bryson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Woodson, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Archer City at 10:30 a.m. on the 29th.
