Marsing lost against The Ambrose School back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Marsing Huskies were beaten by The Ambrose School Archers 87-51. The Huskies' defeat continues a  trend for the  team, making it three in a row.

 Despite the loss, Marsing still got an impressive performance from   Juan Ponce, who  posted 24 points. The  match was  Ponce's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Dresden Wood, who  scored six  points and eight  boards.
 The Ambrose School found their leader in sophomore  Zane Gammon, who  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and 12  rebounds. Those 12  boards gave  Gammon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lincoln Mathis, who  dropped  a double-double on 15  points and 13  rebounds.
Marsing's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for The Ambrose School, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the  victory, which was their ninth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marsing will challenge Parma at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Marsing is facing Parma at the right time seeing as Parma is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for The Ambrose School, they will take on Wendell at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Ambrose School knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Wendell likes a good challenge.
