Concordia made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,128 from 1,188. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 66-2 victory over the Cougars last week.
Westmark's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Paris Livanos threw for 147 and one touchdown and Michael deBie had 96 yards receiving. On the ground deBie chipped in 136 yards. Adam Rosenberg helped Westmark's passing attack out by catching two balls for 51 yards.
Hillcrest Christian's Teddy Rettinger and Austin Ochoa have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Omega (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Rettinger has thrown for 747 yards this season, while Ochoa has 18 catches for 403 yards. deBie from the Lions leads the league in rushing with 431 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Westmark takes on Antelope Valley Christian. Perry Skaggs' team is in second place, while the Eagles are in third place.
