Softball Recap: Mcnary Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Salem, McNary was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South Salem Saxons a 15-0 shutout. The Celtics might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.

McNary has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for South Salem, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McNary will host Dallas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Salem, they will take on Mountainside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
