Maranatha Baptist Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrianna Cruz, who scored seven points.
Maranatha Baptist Academy now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Tournament Opponent, their victory ended a 15-game drought on the road and puts them at 70-160.
Maranatha Baptist Academy will challenge Mountain Grove Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Grove Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Tournament Opponent's road trip will continue as they head out to face First Baptist at 3:00 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully First Baptist focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
