Cristo Rey bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.5 points per game. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey will face off against Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Sacramento Adventist at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sacramento Adventist will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1304th, while Western Sierra Collegiate Academy is ranked 406th).
