Angel Tamayo and Jake Ramirez made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Tamayo pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Meanwhile, Ramirez didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Clark is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 5-7 otherwise. At the plate, Tamayo went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Ramirez went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI Tamayo has posted over his last 12 games.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jerry Brightwell, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Aaron Kish also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Clark hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as LEE struck out seven times.
