The Reagan Bison lost against the Homestead Broncos back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Reagan was beaten by Homestead 53-17. Reagan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Caitylyn Gibson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Homestead, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Gibson has scored at least 25% of Homestead's points. Ardajah Fletcher was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Homestead, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reagan will take on Sunset at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Sunset focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 37 on Friday. Homestead is on the road again on Monday and play against South Dade at 5:30 p.m. on December 11th.
