The Silsbee Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their 12th straight  loss. They were the victim of a  rough 6-1 loss at the hands of Vidor. The  match was a  1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Silsbee couldn't quite close it out.

 Silsbee dropped their record down to 2-12-1 with that  loss, which was their seventh straight  at home. As for Vidor, the  win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5-2.
 Silsbee will head out on the road to  square off against  Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Silsbee's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Vidor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lumberton at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Vidor is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
