The Minneola Wildcats won the last time they faced the Rolla Pirates, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Minneola breezed by Rolla at home to the tune of 52-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Minneola.
Minneola's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braegen Shelor, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Shelor has scored at least 25% of Minneola's points. Another player making a difference was Maiya Shelor, who scored 16 points along with 3 steals.
Minneola's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rolla, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minneola will stay at home for another game and welcome South Gray. Rolla will take on Moscow at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
