Basketball Recap: Asher Weldy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Crosspoint Christian over Westwood Baptist Academy

Crosspoint Christian came up short against the Westwood Baptist Academy Eagles, falling 54-32. Crosspoint Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-12.

Crosspoint Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Asher Weldy, who posted six points. Weldy has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Westwood Baptist Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Robbie Dodd led the charge by going 7 of 9 en route to 14 points and seven assists. Anden Moore was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.
