Waggener is 0-4 against Atherton since April of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Ravens at 5:00 p.m. Waggener will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.
On Monday, Waggener got the win against Shawnee by a conclusive 30-7. Considering the Wildcats have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Keilyn Taylor was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Jamarie Young was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Waggener kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Atherton didn't have quite enough to beat Ballard on Monday and fell 3-2. The Ravens have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.
Izzy Cummins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.
Waggener pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.1 runs over those games. As for Atherton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
Atherton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Waggener has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .660. It's a different story for Atherton, though, as they've only averaged .352. Will they be able to contain Waggener's hitters?
