Valley Oak League recap November 13, 2013
Manteca extended the longest winning streak in Valley Oak League this week by beating East Union, 49-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Weston Ranch fell to Sierra 54-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Jake Pruitt threw for 287 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was 18-24 with 1 interception.
Pruitt put up the best numbers through the air as the Timberwolves topped the Cougars. Pruitt's favorite target this week was Hunter Johnson, who caught 5 passes for 138 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Sierra's Pruitt and Lucas Widmer have proven to be a lethal combination. Pruitt has thrown for 2,807 yards this season, while Widmer has 53 catches for 855 yards. Gaige Allen from Kimball leads the league in rushing with 1,252 yards.
Jeff Harbison's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Weston Ranch. Pruitt ran for 43 yards in the win.
