If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Hayti. On Friday they take on Scott City at 7:00 PM. Scott City will need to watch out since Hayti have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Hayti got themselves on the board against Malden last Friday, but Malden never followed suit. Hayti were fully in charge, breezing past Malden 70-0. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.
Meanwhile, Scott City put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took their matchup against Portageville by a conclusive 42-19 score. The success made it back-to-back wins for Scott City.
Hayti simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Scott City 58-9. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
