Sports Leadership & Management stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Land O' Lakes 74-54. Given Sports Leadership & Management's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Land O' Lakes is ranked 469th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ramone Seals was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with three steals and three blocks. Willie Piggott was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cambridge Christian had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 63-24 victory over the Panthers on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cambridge Christian.
It was another big night for Zay Burton, who scored 26 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Karston Michael Ash, who scored 11 points.
Sports Leadership & Management is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Cambridge Christian, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.
