Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Ada Cougars, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were beaten by the Bulldogs 42-7 on Friday. Ada's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Brock Boyles threw for 174 yards and a touchdown. Lakievin Richardson was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Kolten Carlock rushed for 27 yards.
Ada's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Wagoner, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0-1.
Ada does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wagoner will square off against Blanchard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Blanchard: 13.3, Wagoner: 9.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
