St. Mary's Central added to the longest winning streak in AA West this week by beating Griggs-Barnes County [Griggs County Central/North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay], 38-6. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Beulah's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Miners feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Casey Walcker has thrown for 266 yards and 1 touchdown this season, while Landon Battest has 9 catches for 169 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Beulah and Watford City/Alexander/Johnson Corners Christian Academy. The Miners enters the contest ranked 20th in the state, while the Wolves ranks 21st.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Bishop Ryan/Sawyer takes on St. Mary's Central. The Lions have allowed 88 points this season, while the Saints have given up 77.
St. Mary's Central led the league in scoring this week by notching 38 points on the Titans.
