Despite the defeat, Crosspoint Christian saw an underclassman step up: Ella Cobb dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 12 rebounds, and ten steals. That was a full 50% of Crosspoint Christian's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Liberty Christian Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were outmatched by Christian Fellowship at home and fell 60-30. Liberty Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-19.
Crosspoint Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
Crosspoint Christian took a serious blow against Liberty Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 82-40. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Crosspoint Christian was down 45-23.
