The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder lost against the Oakland-Craig Knights back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder had to suffer through a rough 52-15 loss at the hands of Oakland-Craig. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-0.
When it comes to explaining why Logan View/Scribner-Snyder lost, one person who can't be blamed is Justus Weidemann. Despite the final result, he rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Weidemann's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Oakland-Craig's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braylon Anderson led the charge by throwing for 224 yards and two touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Oakland-Craig also got help from Lincoln Benne who showed off his sure hands for 188 receiving yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder and nudges their season record down to 3-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.0 points per game. As for Oakland-Craig, the victory was the eighth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Oakland-Craig will look to defend their home field on Friday against Amherst. Amherst is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
