Lancaster has gone 8-2 against Williamsville North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Legends will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Lancaster is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
Lancaster's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Depew. The Legends might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 11 runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Brennah DeWald, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Haley Lerner, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Williamsville North posted their closest victory since April 22nd on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against North Tonawanda, sneaking past 4-2.
Claire VanCise tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Brooke Minnuto was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Lancaster's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Williamsville North, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5.
Williamsville North's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Lancaster has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Williamsville North, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Lancaster keep running through batters, or will the Spartans buck the trend?
