Christ Prep Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Non Varsity Opponent out 54-51. For the Patriots, this counts as revenge for the 47-41 victory Non Varsity Opponent walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Christ Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ Prep Academy and Kansas City East Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will be home for the holidays to greet Clovis Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Clovis Christian's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Non Varsity Opponent's offense will have their work cut out for them.
