Farmington had lost 15 straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Monday they dropped their record down to 1-9 to make it 16. They lost  12-2 to the Nute Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  20-2  back in April.
As for Nute, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs over those games.
For Nute's part,  Beckett Viveiros was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Viveiros has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. He has become a key player for Nute: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 2-3 otherwise.
 In other batting news, Nute got a big performance out of  Brandon Bilodeau, who  got on base  in two of his three plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  Bilodeau has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Cooper Janis, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
