The West Milford Highlanders won the last time they faced the Pompton Lakes Cardinals, and things went their way on Saturday too. West Milford took down Pompton Lakes 50-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Milford.
It was another big night for Avery Vacca, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Adison Arciniega was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
West Milford now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Pompton Lakes, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Milford will square off against Fair Lawn at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pompton Lakes, they will head out on the road to challenge Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
