Yates scored a full 47.1% of Paradise's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Morgan Mitschke was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Borden County's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Paradise, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Borden County will challenge Hermleigh at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paradise won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Thrall at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Thrall will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 411th, while Paradise is ranked 160th).
