It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the South Bend Adams Eagles can now relate to. They took a serious blow against the Panthers on Saturday, falling 77-45. South Bend Adams has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Kira Reynolds was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 24 points, 18 rebounds, and 16 blocks for South Bend Washington. Reynolds has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 13 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ryiah Wilson, who scored 15 points along with six steals.
South Bend Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for South Bend Washington, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-4.
South Bend Adams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Bend Washington and the Indians will face off at 4:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lake Central is looking to tack on another W to their nine-game streak on the road.
